6 ONLINE MARKETING TIPS FOR YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS
Marketing a small online business means different things to different people. Just because one idea worked for your friend down the street, it doesn’t mean it’s going to work for you too. We all have to experiment to find our own niche. Sometimes you have to face a loss and find a brand new way of doing something. Which brings me to the reason why we are here today.
I am here to help you get a better understanding of some small business internet fundamentals. These tips will hopefully give you a better idea of where you should be making your adjustments and how to get premium-level SEO services.
1)Blogging should be part of your marketing plan from day one. Blogging is a way to get your ideas out there, without it being portrayed as some sales rap. Most customers do not want to hear a “sales rap.” Most want to come in and enjoy the experience without being “blasted” with “you should be doing this and you should be doing that.”
If you create a friendly marketing technique through your blogging, your sales will come naturally.
2)Guest blogging is another good way to market yourself. Agree to do some guest posts for a friend or two. The more you put yourself out there, outside of your own site, the more of a chance you will have to be seen. It will come naturally. It won’t be seen as “forced.”
3)Social media is also a good tool to use. Most of us use it anyway for social interacting. Why not using as a marketing tool? It will give you even more leverage.
If you hit in the places that most of your followers gravitate to, you will end up with much happier results.
4) Facebook has some wonderful tools for ad placement. You might want to take advantage of this. Placing your ads on Facebook will give your brand and even greater boost.
Your ads have to be placed in the proper place though. If they are not, than this could all backfire on you. If you need help with this, consult with someone from the ad placement team. You might also want to look at how other online companies have done this in the past. It might give you a better perspective on how to place your ad properly.
5)Try emailing your clients. Do this instead of bombarding them with the traditional routes. Number one, it makes things less cluttered. Number two, you stand a better chance of the person reading the message and understanding it.
6)Try PPC. This is called Pay Per Click. The PPC method will give you a better read over a possible demographic. It doesn’t matter how many people take a look at what you are putting out there. All that matter is who is going to buy it. The PPC method will give you a better read over who is buying what you are selling.
Word to the wise: You want the clicks, not the once-and-done skimming.
